We’re very pleased to announce that Jon Titus is now contributing technical content for Sealevel. Most of you probably know Jon from his decades in the industry, many as an editor and contributor to ECN, Test and Measurement World, and other publications. Jon designed one of the world’s first microcomputers, the Mark-8, in 1974. The original Mark-8 is on display at the Smithsonian Institution.

Sealevel’s founder, Tom O’Hanlan, and Jon met while Tom was a student at Virginia Tech and they have remained friends throughout the years. In 2004, Jon and Tom co-authored The Digital I/O Handbook, a guide to input and output applications. We’re very honored to have Jon providing technical insight for Sealevel and we hope you enjoy his first article “Determining an Effective Analog Sampling Rate."
